Not everyone has the luxury of a doggie door, so When we dogs want to go outside, we have a variety of ways of letting family members know to let us out. Some dogs run to the door or whine or bark or paw at their people. Others anxiously pace around the room until their owners notice and let them out. Still others look at their owners with a very meaningful stare and some dogs are even taught to ring a bell to go outside. Serious sniffing around the floor is another obvious sign that it’s time to go outside.
No matter what the signs or signals are, be sure to pay attention and let us out or take us for a nice walk. That way the house can be an accident free zone!
