Here I am, soaking up the warmth from the fireplace. This is our favorite spot in the house for Sadie and me when the fireplace is on. We have two dog beds in our living room and the smaller one usually ends up in front of the fireplace, so squeezing both of us in it doesn’t work very well. We have learned to take turns using it though and when one of us gets too hot from the fireplace, we jump out and the other one jumps in.
Soaking up the warmth feels so good—at least until we feel as if we’re cooking!
