Yesterday, Wen took me to Longmont, Colorado, to work in the Rocky Mountain Scottie Rescue booth at the Tartan Day Festival. Scottie club members and their Scotties were at the booth to meet and greet people and bring an awareness to Scottie Rescue. It was the first day of the two day festival and not only did lots of people stop by our booth to see us Scotties, but more people stopped by the booth who were attending the festival with their own Scotties than ever before. At one time, we had a Scottiepalooza with all us Scotties and festival attendees with their Scotties who had converged on our booth!
People were putting money in our donation jar for rescue, so hopefully at the end of the festival, we will have a nice donation to help out the rescue Scotties with their veterinary care. Every little bit helps!
