It has rained steadily for over 24 hours and parts of our backyard are turning into a swamp. We now have a variety of hazards out there, such as leaves, puddles, and my personal favorite, bare spots that have turned into mud pits.
Every time that we we come in from outside, we track in wet leaves and a whole bunch of muddy pawprints, so now there is a trail of rugs on the floor from the patio door to the kitchen. They seem to help, but with multiple dogs, it’s still a constant wet cleanup.
Now we soggy Scotties get snatched up and towel dried every time that we enter the house. In other words, we swamp creatures are a lot of work!
