The other night, for the first time, Wen gathered her Scottie Christmas ornaments from their storage boxes in the basement closet and decorated a tree with them. She has been collecting Scottie ornaments since the first members of the MacDuff clan were around many years ago and the collection has grown over the years, but the ornaments have never really been displayed.
About a week ago, Wen brought a white tree home, set it up, and spent a whole evening decorating it while Sunny, Molly, Sadie, and I supervised (watched from the couch). After the ornaments were in place and a blanket with a Scottie pattern was made into a tree skirt, voila, our first Scottie tree was complete and everyone can finally enjoy looking at all the Scottie ornaments.
