The room in our house where we Scotties sleep at night is the bedroom that is located over the garage. We sleep in our big cages and stay in them also when Wen leaves the house to run errands or do anything that takes a while because four Scotties loose in the house could get in some serious trouble.
Every time that we are hanging out in our cages and we hear the garage door go up after Wen has been gone, we have a tradition of howling. We all join in what is now a four-voice Scottie chorus.
Maybe we are happy when the door goes up because we know that we will be going outside shortly or maybe we are anticipating a treat, but we sure howl with gusto and make ourselves known with our unusual blend of Scottie voices, just in case Wen has forgotten that we are still here. I guess you could say that around our house, every day’s a howl-i-day!
