The other day, Wen was brushing Molly’s teeth and she noticed that Molly must have bitten down on something hard, because she had two broken lower teeth and she was very sensitive on that side.
Wen immediately scheduled a dental procedure for Molly with our favorite veterinarian, Dr. Nina, at the clinic where Wen was the surgical tech for nearly twenty years. Everything went well and Wen stayed with Molly through the whole procedure. As a matter of fact, Molly was sitting up in her cage just a few minutes after she was put there to recover.
Several hours later, Wen brought Molly home and the rest of us Scotties were so happy to see her that we all gathered around her. (We eventually had to leave her alone though so she could rest.)
It was a big day for Molly, but she was a little trooper and she got lots of TLC. She lost two teeth, but you can’t even tell and she will always be the prettiest dog anyway. Now, she gets to eat yummy soft food for two whole weeks while she’s healing—lucky girl!
