I like attention! I want to be the favorite dog and I work on it every day.
Months ago, I discovered that I can sneak up next to Wen when she is sitting on the couch, bury my muzzle under her wrist, and flip her arm up in the air. Usually, I can wriggle in so that her hand comes back down and lands on my back. Then I get pets or a backscratch. Ha! Very clever of me!
Sometimes I am too persistent and she shoos me away, but it’s definitely worth the try. The nose knows that there is nothing like a good backscratch!
