I am the ultimate snuggler for a Scottish Terrier. If Wen sits down on the couch, I am immediately there too and I scooch in right next to her so that I can get pets and backscratches. Out of the three of us Scotties, I am definitely the attention hog!
Molly likes her share of the attention too, but she only likes it in spurts. She will jump up on the couch for a few pets and then suddenly jump back down and she’s gone.
Sunny, on the other hand, never begs for attention. She will sit on the opposite end of the couch from everyone else and if Wen reaches over and pets her, she enjoys the moment and then she’s gone.
To be totally honest, I have to admit that part of my extreme desire for attention is due to those awesome backscratches, because I have mild allergies and those backscratches really hit the spot when I am feeling itchy!!!
