There seem to be a lot of cars around here with stick figure family decals on the back windows and bumper stickers proudly stating that their child is an honor student at “so and so” school.
Wen found a bumper sticker at a pet supply store several years ago that she thought would look perfect—not on the car, but on Kirby’s crate. It said, ” My Scottish Terrier is Smarter Than Your Honor Student.” Well, of course she bought it and it has been making a facetious statement on the side of the crate for a while now.
We joined the bumper sticker movement in a more subtle way, didn’t mess up the car, and we always know which crate is ours. As a bonus, everyone who who sees the crate can tell that we’re a Scottie family!
