Wen has been very fortunate to have friends who are talented artists. Several years ago, one of the ladies at her workplace, a watercolor artist, offered to paint a portrait of Wen’s Scotties from photographs.
It was impossible to find a photo of Kirby, Sunny, and Frosty together with all three dogs looking good, but Wen eventually came up with one nice photo of each dog.
After a few weeks, the portrait was finished and it was even better than Wen had anticipated. Her friend was able to take the three individual photos and combine the images into one portrait of the three dogs together and the result was amazing!
These days, the portrait is prominently displayed and it is even more meaningful since Wen not only lost Kirby and Frosty, but her artist friend as well. It is a touching reminder of a lady who was a generous friend and a great artist.
