Evidently, the temperature did a nose dive overnight. Instead of the warm weather of the past few days, we Scotties were met with a cold blast of air and the first snow flurries of the year when we went outside this morning. The flakes were teeny tiny, but you could see them gradually collecting on the deck and since the sun is now trying to poke through the clouds, those tiny flakes will disappear quickly. They still count as snow though. There may not be a measurable accumulation, but white stuff is white stuff!
