Back in the day when Wen was growing up, her parents didn’t rush to put up their Christmas tree. Normally, it was barely up before Christmas. These days with artificial trees, it doesn’t matter how long a tree is up, so ours went up last night already. Who would have thought that a Christmas tree would appear before Thanksgiving, but I suppose it’s nice to have pretty decorations for a longer time.
Yep, the tree’s up and although it doesn’t smell like a real tree, it’s still tempting to us Scotties to have a tree conveniently located in our living room, so I’d better be on my best behavior!
