When our big sister, Sunny, was a puppy, she had enormous ears. In her photo on her medical records at the vet, Sunny’s ears looked so big that she earned the nickname “Sunny Bunny.” Fortunately, as she grew to be an adult dog, Sunny grew into her bunny ears and the rest of her head matched the size of her ears. By that time her nickname had stuck though, so Sunny was “Sunny Bunny” her whole life.
