Yesterday, Wen loaded us Scotties into the car and we went to visit our groomer, Gigi to get beautified. In a matter of a few hours we went from scruffy to stylin’ and later, when Wen picked us up, Gigi told her to check Facebook, because we were featured on Gigi’s page as the “face of the day.”
Yep, Gigi took our picture and Wen was excited to see it, because she has always wondered how we behave when we get groomed. Wen knew that Gigi always keeps us three together, away from other dogs (We ARE terriers, you know!) because we are happier that way and from the picture she could see our nice hairdos. She could also see that Molly and Sadie looked a little excited and stressed with their tongues hanging out, plus Molly was sitting straight up on her rear legs, which she very rarely does. As for me, I was looking my usual serious self, because I am Mister Chill and it takes a lot to get me all excited.
Anyway, Wen had a little glimpse into how we react to being in a space with tons of other dogs of all shapes and sizes and lots of bathing and grooming activity and it’s no surprise that when we get home from another grooming day, the three of us typically crash on the couch for a big snooze after all the excitement.
