Well, we have a new problem to solve at our house. The TV was on the other night and a commercial came on where a doorbell rang and Sadie, the puppy, who was sound asleep on the couch, immediately woke up, barked, and ran to the front door.
Okay, it was kind of amusing that she thought it was our real doorbell the first time that it happened, but each time the commercial has come on the TV since then, Sadie has had the same barking response–over and over.
How do you make a dog understand that a doorbell on TV is not the real thing when it sounds just like the real thing?
