Well, the arctic blast has arrived and it’s -12 degrees outside, but with the wind chill, it feels like -27. We Scotties went bounding outside early this morning like usual, but shortly we were limping around on frozen paws, so Wen picked each one of us up and carried us back inside where it was nice and warm.
As soon as we saw that the fireplace was on, Sadie and I were parked on our dog bed in front of it, soaking up the heat. Molly rolled around on her back on the rug by the couch and she ended up with a serious case of static cling.
They predict three days of the arctic blast with bitter cold, blustery winds, and snow, so we’ll be hunkering down inside. We Scotties love the snow, but frozen paws? Not so much!
