Losing Duffy was an unexpected and devastating tragedy for Wen and her husband, so it was only a few months until they found the next MacDuff.
Another Texas Scottie breeder’s puppy was chosen and he was the only male of a solid black litter. Wen named him “Casey MacDuff” and he quickly became her favorite dog for years to come (literally, decades).
Casey was a sturdy and handsome boy. He was a typical Scottie: independent, intelligent, and devoted to his family. Being the only dog gradually became an issue though, and after about a year, he started entertaining himself by finding new things to chew on, such as the dining room walls. Wen decided that it was time to get another dog because Casey definitely needed a buddy!
Fortunately, Casey was a very healthy dog, because he had become Wen’s pride and joy and he would prove to be her best friend through “thick and thin” his entire life.
Thanks for the info!
