Colorado Tartan Day

Yesterday, we got up really early and Wen took me to Longmont, Colorado, to participate in the Colorado Tartan Day festival at the fairgrounds.  We had signed up to work for a few hours in the Rocky Mountain Scottish Terrier Club booth and also help set up for the day.

We took our wagon along, which was decorated with Scottie decals and magnets for the occasion and as soon as we got there, I got to go for a short wagon ride around the festival grounds.

There was a parade of the clans to start the day and we Scotties and our owners followed the clans as they marched around the grounds.  Then, we went to the Scottie club booth, where my job was to sit on the table and get lots of pets from the people passing by who stopped to see the Scotties.  The club members answered questions about Scottish Terriers and Scottie rescue while we Scotties got lots of attention.

After our shift was over, we loaded up the car and took off for home.  It was a fun day, but a long day, so as soon as we got home, it was nap time for me and I stretched out on the couch.
