We Scotties like spending time on our living room couch and loveseat and we have all the logistics worked out. Molly prefers to hang out by herself on one side of the loveseat or on top of a throw pillow, although she will very rarely (once or twice a month) be found stretched out next to Sadie or me. Sadie likes to snuggle up next to me on the couch, although she will curl up by herself on both the couch and the loveseat and she also likes to jump up on the back of the couch and stretch out up there.
As for me, I like to snuggle up on the couch next to Wen as she works on her iPad and I hang out with both my sisters wherever they are lounging, plus Sadie makes a great pillow for me to rest my nose on.
Do you think Molly would ever tolerate my snuggling up to her and resting my nose on her back? Ha! No way! Not gonna happen! She likes her personal space much more than Sadie or I do, but we three have an understanding of our typical couch and loveseat usage and we never get in each other’s way.
All this sounds as if we Scotties are couch potatoes, but I like to think of us more as couch comfort testers.
