We don’t need a dinner bell at our house because we have a live four-footed one that works just fine and her name is Sunny!
She is a great example of a dog on a schedule, because if Wen doesn’t feed us at six o’clock in the evening, Sunny starts whimpering by about 6:10. She knows when it is time for dinner and she wants her food!
We eat twice daily and our morning mealtime varies according to what time we get up and then finish cruising around outside in the backyard. Sunny keeps us on track for the evening meal though with her whimpering. The longer she waits, the louder she whimpers until dinner is served.
Molly and I owe Sunny a big “thank you,” because without her internal alarm clock and insistent whimpering, we could be eating at any old time!
