Isn’t It Past Time to Eat?

The time changed back to standard time a week ago, but someone forgot to tell us Scotties.  We were used to waking up at seven, so since we “fell back” and gained an hour, we now wake up at six.  Wen is obviously trying to get us to sleep in until seven, because she doesn’t make a move to get up until then, so we may or may not go back to sleep for an extra hour.

After we get up every morning and go outside, we eat our morning meal immediately, so that routine is going okay, but our stomachs are ready for our evening meal an hour early since the time changed, so we have to wait for our dinner.  Hopefully, we Scotties will gradually adjust to the time change like Wen has, but if we follow the same pattern as before, it will take several weeks before our schedules are synchronized with Wen’s schedule.  Until then, we Scotties will be wondering, “Isn’t it past time to eat?”

Hint hint: isn’t it past time to eat?
