The sun was shining and the weather was gorgeous yesterday, so Wen thought that it was a perfect day to head up in the mountains to go geocaching and check out the Fall foliage. She put a few supplies in the car and then at the last minute, she grabbed my leash and I got to go too!
We drove to Dillon and Wen took lots of pictures of the aspens, which were all shades of brilliant gold.
This is the time of the year that the leaf peepers come out to see the Fall foliage, so I guess that we qualified as leaf peepers yesterday as we were enjoying being in the mountains seeing all the colors of the changing leaves.
We spent some time at Lake Dillon, Wen geocached on the south side of the lake, and before we knew it, it was time to go home.
Our leaf peeping/geocaching trip was a lot of fun. Of course, any day that I get to go for a car ride is a great day for Rileyroozers!
