Yesterday was the day for the Rocky Mountain Scottish Terrier Club’s annual picnic where the members were invited to bring their Scotties. This time, Wen decided to take only one dog and I was the lucky one!
We went for a long car ride to get to our destination and when we arrived, there were all sorts of Scotties running around in exercise pens and a sea of crates sitting in the shade of the huge trees.
It was quite an exciting afternoon meeting lots of Scotties and an occasional Westie or Cairn terrier and I got plenty of pets from the club members and even some compliments on my good behavior!
It was a fun afternoon, but by the time we left several hours later, I was kind of tired and ended up having a little snooze on the car ride home.
We had a great time at the picnic seeing all of the people and their dogs. Maybe next time though, Wen will take Sunny and Molly too so that the wheatens will be even better represented!
