Unfortunately, we Scotties have taught Sadie, the puppy, to eat a bunch of things that she shouldn’t have, such as pieces of bark, toy stuffing, little pieces of fabric, pieces of lint, etc.
Sadie started a chain of vomiting episodes yesterday and the sixth time, she threw up the largest hairball (7 1/2 inches by 1 inch) that Wen had ever seen, which was quite a huge achievement for a little puppy.
The hairball could have easily required a foreign body surgery, so Sadie really lucked out and needless to say, all of the plush toys have been put away and Wen has blocked our access to the landscaping bark in the backyard.
Now, how do we stop Sadie from eating other weird hairball-causing stuff, other than watching her like a hawk?!
