This morning, Molly had one of her bursts of energy and she ended up on the love seat, right in Sunny’s face. She jumped back and forth, diving at Sunny who was lying there like a statue, except for one thing—her lips were twitching!
The closer Molly came, the more Sunny showed her teeth and there might have been a hint of a growl too.
Molly loves to play, especially when she gets those crazy bursts of energy, but today she picked the wrong playmate and she pushed Sunny’s limits.
I like to think that some day she will learn that Sunny doesn’t like to be bothered, because Sunny could chomp her a good one! The reality is: Molly will probably never learn and she will continue to ignore Sunny’s warning signals, even if she ends up getting bit.
