A Nebraska breeder and a South Dakota breeder had bred two of their Scotties and they produced a litter with two wheaten female puppies. Wen had chosen the name “Sunny” for her next female puppy and one of the two girls seemed to fit the name perfectly, with her happy outgoing personality.
Sunny and Kirby bonded immediately and they became a pretty much inseparable wheaten duo.
When Wen brought home her only rescue Scottie, Frosty Froofers, both dogs accepted her as if she had always been there, but Sunny became her best friend,
Our big sister, Sunny, has lived through many changes in her life so far: gaining Frosty Froofers and then losing her to brain tumors, gaining me as a puppy, losing Kirby after his two and three fourth year-long battle with bladder cancer, and then gaining Molly as a puppy, but she has persevered. She just keeps “going with the flow,” adjusting to each new situation. I guess that her strong character and “sunny” personality have helped make her the queen and our fearless leader!
