Today is Molly’s birthday and she is two years old! Wen took her for a car ride to Unleashed by Petco where they picked out Molly’s birthday presents. The nice ladies who work there gave Molly lots of pets, which was risky business since she may be a little tyrant at home, but in any new situation, she becomes very shy. The shopping trip went well though, Molly wasn’t too traumatized, and they came home with a big sack full of goodies.
We had a birthday celebration with special treats and we all checked out Molly’s presents: a plush gator, a plush duck, a whole pile of squeaky toys (her favorites), and more treats.
Wen had a fancy girly party hat for Molly, but she didn’t want to wear it and she got all squirrelly, just like when Wen tries to take photos of her.
All in all, it’s been a good day so far because we’re getting extra treats. (We love to celebrate anything if it means more treats!)
