Our favorite hockey team, the Colorado Avalanche, is playing in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight and the series is tied, so we will be glued to the TV, rooting them on.
The Stanley Cup playoffs are like a whole new season with the level of play really ramped up, so the hockey games are incredibly intense and exciting, which means that there can be yelling and screaming involved. This can be a little disconcerting for us Scotties, but as long as we realize that the yelling and screaming isn’t directed at us, it’s all good.
Let’s hope for a big win tonight, as the Avs will be playing their first game of the series on home ice and there’s a chance that the team captain will play with the team after being on injured reserve since 2022. Go Avs Go!!!
