When Wen first noticed a little wheaten-colored dog who was up for adoption at Petsmart several years ago, she thought that she was looking at a wheaten Scottie, but she needed to get up close for a better look.
The shy little dog’s hair coat had been trimmed short all over, except for a bushy tail, and she looked in desperate need of a stylist, but up close, even with a bad haircut, Wen discovered that she was looking at a Scottie.
To make a long story short, the dog turned out to be a sweet female, Wen ended up adopting her, and after several months, a transformation had taken place. The dog, who was originally thought to be a mixed breed terrier, was now named “Frosty” and she looked more like a Scottie as her hair coat grew in. After several professional groomings, little Frosty was a fine specimen of a Scottie and as the years passed, not only had her appearance improved, but also had her personality. Wen had really lucked out the day that she saw a little dog up for adoption in Petsmart, because Frosty had become the perfect addition to the MacDuff clan.
