For the last month, things have really changed around here with the addition of a puppy. Little Sadie has definitely added a new dimension to our routine and now that she has grown more, it seems as though our personal space is shrinking.
Take for example our water bowl in the kitchen. All of a sudden, it has gotten crowded around the water bowl when there’s fresh water and four of us are trying to drink simultaneously. Three dogs can do it easily, but with number four, it’s pretty tight with the bowl in a corner and four of us lined up for a slurp.
Maybe it’s time to invest in a larger bowl (or a trough) or move the present bowl to a different location to alleviate our water bowl issues, because dogs don’t really comprehend the idea of drinking in shifts.
